As we have no income except through sponsorship, membership and grants, every extra penny counts. During the cricket season, our ground maintenance, ground rental, teas and the goodwill of our wonderful committee, the costs can exceed £600 per week (depending on how many matches are being played on our two grounds).
Fundraising is key to our club.
If you would like to take part in our behind the scenes fundraising activities and help purchase training items for our juniors (and seniors) please see our initiatives below.
We have three bonus balls left to be taken and as you can see from the poster it has been a great fundraiser for the club raising £12,000 over the last 10 years. If you are interested in taking part, please contact Alan Bailey.
By using this simple app which can be set up on your phone and doesn’t cost you anything, the club can earn monies from your online purchases. Basically whenever you go to buy something from Amazon, eBay etc, using this app, the companies associated will donate a small portion of your purchase fee to the club.
Use your player budget to pick a team of players from your club and they’ll score you points based on how well they perform in real life. Compete with other players from your club and see who comes out on top come the end of the season. Click here for more information.
